New flower shop opens in the Hale-Hawaii Building. This was the arcade in front of the old Outrigger Canoe Club on Kalakaua Avenue, now the site of the Outrigger Hotel. In a later (December 1944) advertisement it appears that Wilkie's Florist was then known as Outrigger Florist.
