 | Recording of Albert Wilkinson - 1961
This recording was made by Albert "Baba" Wilkinson in 1961, three months after he retired from the Bank of Hawaii. It was made on reel-to-reel tape, and hasn't been played since it was recorded. We kept it, safe, for 51 years. We had it professionally digitized in 2012, and when I first played it I was struck by the fact that "Baba" was 65 years old, and he was now speaking to me (it sounded like he was in the room with me) -- and I am now almost 63 years old. -- CWW
