The 1920 U.S. Census shows: Lily Wilkinson, head of household, owner of property, 43 years old, a widow, arrived in the U.S. in 1892, an alien, born in Switzerland, mother language French [seems doubtful, since she was from German Switzerland]. Lily is living with her sons Albert, age 23, a collector in a Bank; James, age 21, a machinist at the Iron Works; and Charles, age 14. All are shown to be "octaroons," which means "an offspring of a quadroon and a white parent; a person who is one-eighth black." Virtually everyone on this census sheet is shown to be an "octaroon," which is impossible.

White Tanks Cemetery is the Maricopa County cemetery for people who die in the county indigent, unclaimed or unidentified; graves carry only a small marker. Birdie's reads "Alberta Moore 4/5/1930 86". Plot 14C-2-56. She had lived her last years semi-homeless in Arizona, and the family did not learn of her death until October 2026.
