1901 U.K. Census - Richard Sadler and Elizabeth Wilkinson Sadler, and family, living at 21 Thorn Street, Manchester
The 1901 census shows Richard Sadler (age 39, a railway wagon labourer) living with his wife Elizabeth (age 48, formerly Wilkinson and Allen), and children Florence Allen (20, a cloth cap maker), Lilly Allen (age 19, also a cloth cap maker), Elizabeth Allen (age 15, cloth cap maker), and Richard Sadler (age 3). Also present in the household were Richard Sadler's children, presumably from an earlier marriage: Charley Sadler (19), Elizabeth Sadler (13), and Harriet Sadler (11).
